Our timeline
A Development Consent Order (DCO) application for the Facility was submitted to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) in March 2021. The application was accepted by PINS on 20th April 2021.
The Examination period for the DCO commenced in October 2021 will last up to six months (until March 2022). After the Examination closes, the PINS Examining Authority has three months to make a recommendation to the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State then has three months to make the decision whether to grant development consent for the project.
